Here is an idea for young children to make for Valentines Day. Very cute and very simple!
You will need:
Construction Paper (Lots of Valentine Colors)
Scissors
Glue
Paper Plate
- Cut the center of the paper plate out leaving a donut shape, this is the base of your wreath.
- Cut heart shapes out of the construction paper. I think the easiest way to do this is to cut the construction paper into various sized squares and fold in half and then make the hearts.
- Glue the hearts all over the "donut" shaped paper plate. There you have it a beautiful heart wreath for Valentines Day. I also make a bow and glue it to the top front. You may also want to tie a piece of ribbon or yarn on it to hang it from.
