Valentine Bottle

Here is something that came from a woman who views our site. I thought it was so cute and she says it can be mailed for the cost of only 2 stamps! She gives this to her girls every Valentines Day from the "Love Bug" what a cute idea!

Instructions:

  • Clean out a plastic bottle (soda pop, water bottle)
  • Cut a 1x4 inch slot in the back of the bottle so you can stuff items inside the bottle.
  • Gather items for a theme (ie Valentines Day: Suckers, candy, colored grass, trinkets)
  • Make of purchase a small card to attach to the front of the bottle as a label.
  • Decorate the outside up with stickers and Ribbon. I think I might have painted the bottom of the outside of the bottle red with black dots like a lady bug. You can decorate it however you want. What a way cute idea for a gift.

Homemade Valentines

These are featured on Family Fun. But I did these a few years ago for my daughters Preschool class. I think I will do them again this year for her class because they are so easy and so cute. I wrote Happy Valentines day on the other side of the hearts.

Valentines Day Bingo

Looking for a fun Valentines Day Game to play with the children. This site has Valentines Bingo Cards already made up just print them and away you go. Hours of fun!

Valentine Day Card Holder

Here is another idea for you!

You will need:

Construction Paper
Glue
Scissors
Hole Punch
2 paper plates for each holder
Yarn, String or Ribbon
Masking Tape

Directions:

Cut one paper plate in half. Let the child decorate this paper plate however they want.

Put the plates together so the rims are touching to form a pouch. Masking tape these together.

Using the hole punch put holes all the way around the half paper plate at the bottom but through both paper plates.

With the Yarn, String or Ribbon lace the half paper plate to the whole paper plate.

Cut out hearts from the construction paper to decorate the top of the card holder.

Valentines Day Wreath

Here is an idea for young children to make for Valentines Day. Very cute and very simple!

You will need:
Construction Paper (Lots of Valentine Colors)
Scissors
Glue
Paper Plate

  • Cut the center of the paper plate out leaving a donut shape, this is the base of your wreath.
  • Cut heart shapes out of the construction paper. I think the easiest way to do this is to cut the construction paper into various sized squares and fold in half and then make the hearts.
  • Glue the hearts all over the "donut" shaped paper plate. There you have it a beautiful heart wreath for Valentines Day. I also make a bow and glue it to the top front. You may also want to tie a piece of ribbon or yarn on it to hang it from.

I NEED HELP

Hey everyone I need your help I am the room mom for my daughters first grade class and I am trying to come up with a Treat, Craft, and game to do on February 13 for the Valentines Party. If any of you have any cute easy(remember they are 1st graders)ideas please let me know!!! Thanks

White Chocolate Cheesecake

I love Cheesecake. But it seems like most of the no bake cheesecakes taste very cream cheese. Ok I know a silly saying because well that is what Cheesecake is Cream Cheese. One of my friends had a recipe for a White Chocolate Cheesecake and I have made a few alterations to hers and come up with my own. The only real problem is I dont know exact measurements I just kind of put a bit of this and that and it works. So go by taste. But here is what I think it is.   It is so Moreish! I totally love it and I made it for my book club last night and everyone LOVED it! I will post a picture when I make it again this weekend for some people I am having for dinner! Enjoy!

White Chocolate Cheesecake

Graham Crackers or Digestive Biscuits
Butter
2 8oz cream cheese
1/2 cup sugar
Large (very large Biggest you can find) Double Cream or Whipping Cream (Double is best)
1 1/2 Massive big bar of white chocolate.
medium bar of Milk Chocolate and Dark Chocolate.

Start by making the base by crushing the graham Crackers or Digestive biscuits and a couple Tablespoons of sugar. Melt your butter and mix with the graham crackers and place in the bottom of your pie or cake pan.

Melt 1 big bar of white chocolate and set a side to cool a little. Mix together the remainder of the sugar and the cream cheese and add the chocolate. Set this mixture to the side. Whip up the cream until it forms soft peaks. Mix the cream and the cream cheese mixture together. There should be about equal parts of cream and cream cheese mixture. Once this is mixed together really well put on top of your graham cracker base.

Grate in turns the White, Milk and Dark chocolate all over the top of your cheesecake. Cover it with it.... Loads! and refridgerate until ready to serve. You could also put strawberries or any other fruit on top if you prefer. The cream cheese bit is so creamy and so light. Be careful not to eat the whole pan by yourself before getting to show it off to everyone. Let me know what you think once you have made it. I think it is delish!
