Summertime Lemonade

I love the Summer Season. I honestly think it is my favorit time of year. One of my favorite things about Summer is Lemonade in all its flavors and colors. Last Summer I posted my Homemade Lemonade recipe I think there is a little more to a great glass of lemonade then just squeezing some lemons and adding sugar and water... though it isnt difficult.

Better Homes and Gardens have some great idea for flavored Lemonade which I thought I would share. I hope that you enjoy!!

Watermelon Lemonade:

Make this by pureeing Watermelon and adding it to your pitcher of Homemade Lemonade. Garnish with a slice of Watermelon.

Lavender Lemonade:

This is a lovley treat! Just add a bit of Dried Lavender to your pitcher of Homemade Lemonade and Garnish with Fresh Lavender.

Blackberry Lemonade:

This is quick and easy. Simple stir in Fresh Blackberries and Fresh Sage leaves to your glass of Homemade Lemonade. Simply Divine!

Kiwi Melon Lemonade (My Hubby's Favorite):

Make this beautiful Lemonade by pureeing Honeydew Mellon and just adding it to your pitcher of Homemade Lemonade. In each glass garnish with Kiwi. This is a lovely flavor on those warm summer nights!

Raspberry Lemonade:

This is a refreshing Lemonade in which you simple mix Raspberry Juice with your pitch of Homemade Lemonade. remember is you are making fresh Raspberry Juice to use a sieve and not put any seeds in your pitch. Its not to nice swallowing the seeds :) Garnish each glass with a few Fresh Raspberries.

Lemonade Drop Lemonade:

This is one of my favorite Dinner Party Lemonades. Simple crush Lemon Drops and sugar dress the rim of your glass classic margarita style. Serve your Homemade Lemoade Recipe in the classes and finish off with a slice of Lemon for Garnish. It looks simple beautiful. Very classy for a quiet evening in the garden with friends.

With each of these ideas you simply use the amount of fruit you desire to make a stronger or a more mild taste. I hope that you enjoy your Summer Lemoade as much as I do mine.

**** Quick Baby update for anyone interested**** I have now reached 24 weeks and 1 day. My baby has a 14% chance of survival from today. This morning I receive my first steroid injection for her lungs. It has been 4 weeks and 5 days since my waters broke and I am still on strict bedrest to try and keep her in as long as possible. I am contracting all day and all night but having had two previous children Im not rushing to the hospital until the contractions get more regular than 15 - 20 mins apart. I cant thank everyone enough for their kind thoughts and their prayers. My Drs are astonished I have made it this far and keep telling me my baby is a real miracle. I know that the Lord is blessing me and my family. Thanks everyone again!!
