Isnt this just adorable? I love this idea for a front door. We are moving house in 4 weeks so I wont really get a chance to make this one this year but next year I am so making it. You could customise it to be any color you want. Here is what I would do if I was making it.
I would buy the wreath, no point in making it when it is probably cheaper to buy it. I would then blow out the eggs and I would dye them whatever colour I want. I might even Lace dye them. If you dont know what lace dye is let me know I can do a blog post on it, it is really pretty. I would them write in permanent marker welcome, a letter on each egg. And then just hot glue them to the wreath. I would probably add a ribbon to it as well just because I like the effect. But there are so many possibilities with this wreath. As they say, the skies the limit!

So beautiful! I have heard of lace dye, but don't know how to do it--not surprising since I am not at all crafty. I just love crafts that other people make. :)

This is great, I think I'm going to do it. I want the exact color, Robin's Egg blue, but how do I get it? I will have to go to craft store...I need to know how to die the eggs this specific color. Was looking for an Easter idea...thanks!!
Annie there are two ways. You can always try to dye the egg the color you want. The eggs will vary in color a little bit if you do this because the shade depends on the length of time in the dye, the amounts of vinegar the strength of the dye you use.
One way to guarantee it is the exact color you want it to paint the eggs. eggs paint really easy and you will find that the color you want is acheived a bit easier and more fully with a basic acrylic paint. Good luck! I am sure yours will be beautiful!
