Our Honeys

Alisha Whitfield

Hi I'm Alisha. I am the mother of three beautiful children, ages 7, 3 and 5 months and wife to an amazing English Man. We were married in Utah but shortly there after moved across the pond to England where we currently live. I love being a mom which has given me the inspiration for this website. I have so many ideas swimming around in my mind that I needed somewhere to share them. So I created this blog. I also thought there must be other creative women out there who wanted a place to write up their idea without having to go to the trouble of creating a website and I was right. Which is where all the Lovely Honeys have come from. I am also a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. So you will find posts which follow along with my religious beliefs. I love comments so feel free to comment away! You can also email me at alisha@homemakinghoneys.com

I an Englishwoman living in America. I came to Utah on vacation 5 years ago and met my future husband, 49 days later we were married! In those 5 glorious years of wedded bliss (don't hate me:) I have become a mommy/mummy to two of the cutest little scamps you'll ever come across, a boy and a girl, aged two and 9 months, so you can imagine what my days are like! I love to travel and we hope to travel a lot with our children so that they can gain an appreciation for people from all different walks of life, and enjoy other peoples cultures. It has been a bit of a struggle to get our two kids here, as we've had some infertility issues and lost two babies along the way, but as with everything in life that is good, they were worth waiting and working for. They sprinkle joy (and mess everywhere they go:).

Hi I'm Jamie!  I am a Utah girl living in Jolly Old England, and have for about 5 years.  I met my husband in Utah (he was on holiday from England) on a blind date and the rest is history!  I don't have any children of my own (our biggest trial: infertility) but have plenty of experience as a nanny and Primary President (oh and my favourite, I'm an Auntie).  One day when I grow up I hope to be an author and am excited to get my start writing for Homemaking Honeys! Please feel free to check out my own personal blog http://jamieinjest.blogspot.com/
